Amphibian and Reptile Surveys

Our biologists specialize in comprehensive species inventories of amphibians and reptiles. Herpetofaunal surveys are conducted using a multi-method approach, employing the use of drift fence arrays, pitfalls, funnel traps, cover boards, seining, diurnal and nocturnal searches, mating call surveys, turtle traps, etc. This ensures that an exhaustive sampling is achieved. Surveys can be designed and implemented to accommodate a wide variety of research needs.
